Directions From Major NYC Airports

The following links provide comprehensive information about getting to New York City from JFK, LaGuardia and Newark airports using private and public transportation. All three airports offer Express Bus services directly to Grand Central Station.

Helicopter Shuttle Service services JFK and Newark Airports to/from the East 34th Street Heliport (TSS) or the Downtown Manhattan Heliport (JRB). The flight takes only 8-10 minutes.

Public Transportation

NYC Subways: The 4, 5, 6 and 7 lines stop at Grand Central.
Most other lines stop at 42nd Street, then you transfer to the Grand Central shuttle. Refer to this NYC subway map for detailed information.

From Points North and West: Metro-North Railroad to Grand Central
From Points East: Long Island Railroad to Penn Station
From Points South: Amtrak Railroad or NJ Transit trains and buses to Penn Station (33rd St. and 7th Ave.) or the Port Authority Bus Terminal (42nd St. and 8th Ave).
